Mid-Crest Panthers Announce The Appointment of Makhi Tobrise as Athletic Director

The Mid-Crest Panthers Youth Football & Cheerleading Program is proud to officially announce the appointment of Makhi Tobrise as Athletic Director of Mid-Crest Panthers.

Entering his third year with the Mid-Crest Panthers, Mr. Tobrise has served the organization in several capacities, including Assistant Athletic Director, Equipment Manager, and Head Widget Football Coach. His experience within the program has allowed him to work closely with athletes, coaches, parents, volunteers, and organizational leadership.

Mr. Tobrise steps into the Athletic Director position with exciting new ideas and a strong vision for the future of MCP. Under his leadership, he plans to help reshape the organization and bring Mid-Crest Panthers Athletics into a new, modern era, while continuing to honor the history, traditions, and Panther pride that have defined the program for generations.

Working alongside the Executive Board and Board leadership, Mr. Tobrise plans to strengthen both the Football and Cheer divisions through increased accountability, coach training and development, recruitment and retention, responsible budgeting, improved operations, and long-term planning.

A major part of his vision extends beyond athletics. Mr. Tobrise plans to make community outreach and engagement a priority, rebuild relationships throughout the communities MCP serves, establish new partnerships, increase the Panthers’ presence within the community, and work toward regaining and strengthening MCP’s jurisdictional integrity.

These efforts will play an important role in preparing the organization for the 2027 New Era / Comeback Season and establishing a stronger foundation for the future of Mid-Crest Panthers Athletics.

Mr. Tobrise believes moving MCP forward will require everyone working together — the Executive Board, Board leadership, coaches, parents, volunteers, athletes, alumni, and the community.

“This is bigger than one season. It is about rebuilding our program, reconnecting with our community, and creating a foundation that our kids and families can be proud of.”

— Makhi Tobrise, Athletic Director

The Mid-Crest Panthers look forward to this next chapter and the continued growth and development of its Football & Cheer programs.
